
What makes you good at what you do?
I am kind and
deeply compassionate. One of my strengths is to give people their
own space to heal. I am comfortable with (and compassionate about)
whatever you may need to reveal to me along with your emotional
release.
I am grounded and
secure and so do not need to validate myself or my work by asking you if
you feel better (too often this pressures the client into saying what
they think that they therapist wants to hear) or by initiating hugging
(again, this often comes from the therapist’s needs and not yours).
I am fully present
and loving; if you wish to hug, I am delighted to do so – but it’s
always your choice, as is everything else in your work with me.
